At Aphro, we honor the legacy of Southern Black cooking — the kind born from resilience, community, and creativity. Our dishes reflect the spirit of Georgia soul food: fresh peach cobbler made with fruit from local orchards, greens slow-cooked with smoked turkey just like Big Mama used to make, and fried chicken that crackles with every bite. We draw inspiration from the rich Gullah-Geechee flavors along the coast, the smoky  traditions of Middle Georgia, and the bold lemon pepper culture of Atlanta’s streets.
